Over the past few years, cryptocurrencies have rapidly burst into our everyday and financial lives. Many users worldwide are faced with the question - of how to properly and legally pay taxes on their crypto activities.

At the very beginning, we worked on a service - cryptotax.io, which also solved financial accounting problems. Still, after attracting investment and merging with Blockpit, we took on the burden of responsibility to free users from long calculations of their transactions. We developed a service to connect accounts from all popular platforms and generate a detailed report of all financial transactions in one click.

To support most of the possible crypto world providers, we have done the following:
   • Integration with all popular centralized crypto exchanges (Binance, Coinbase, Huobi, FTX, etc.)
   • Direct integration of transactions of top blockchain platforms (Bitcoin, Ripple, DOGE, Ethereum)
   • Integration with Metamask, Trust Wallet, Ledger, and other popular non-custodial wallets.

Here are a few details of what problems we have solved for our users:

The platform collects data from all major crypto exchanges to help professional crypto investors, traders, and crypto enthusiasts who invest and trade occasionally count their transactions and generate tax reports in full accordance with their place of tax residence. Blockpit provides a variety of instruments to cover all the user's needs and ensure reliability and the best user experience.


We were thrilled to be a part of this project because it impacts businesses and the ecology, making our world a better place for people. The app allows farmers to more easily track the condition of their trees and receive various types of reports from the system that observes the trees. These reports can include information on pests, diseases, fruit counts, etc.

Our initial goal has been to make the interface more responsive and smooth by eliminating delays and reworking some code, speeding up the downloading time of different workers’ missions, unifying constructing interface elements for reports, and improving the data synchronization algorithm.

Our client is under NDA. They are a global financial company that provides various financial and related services. Their primary services include international transfers with low fees and managing all clients' money in one multi-currency account.

We have designed a blockchain solution that allows our clients to create branded fan tokens based on Binance Smart Chain with a few simple steps. There is a token builder that serves as an automatic deployment of all the necessary smart contracts for managing and distributing tokens. It also provides all the features of a master wallet, such as minting, token transfer, and token distribution statistics. Lastly, it offers a safe process of transferring tokens through one smooth admin panel. The payment processing microservice is based on an integration with Stripe and a constant verification of the correspondence of records in the blockchain to actual financial transfers via queue broker and database synchronizer.

The solution integrates an Android application that communicates with the KrakenSDR hardware over Wi-Fi, acquiring bearing data relative to the antenna array. 

The app calculates the estimated bearing to the transmitter by utilizing the built-in GPS to determine the device's location and the GPS or compass sensors to ascertain the direction of movement. This bearing is plotted on a map from the current GPS position, guiding users toward the transmitter.

The key feature of this smart contract is also the funding hub, with a cash buffer, which optimizes the payment for network gas, reducing transfer fees from 30% to 70% on average.

The automation service uses an internal smart queue for managing incoming messages according to subject area constrictions and requirements. It ensures that each operation with a user loan is consistent. Manage the pull connection to the client’s API. It uses algorithms that reduce the wait time for each message by minimizing blocking conditions and avoiding long monopolization of source by message.

The primary challenge was reducing the time between ticket reception and resolution, as sometimes it took up to eight hours. This delay led to a negative customer experience. Another area for improvement was the overwhelming flow of incoming tasks, leading to uneven workload distribution among team members and exceeding designated time limits by up to 140%, which hurt both the company and the team.

We took a systematic approach. The first step was to identify the root cause of the long customer support time. Firstly, we analyzed the existing customer support process and identified a couple of bottlenecks, including the impossibility of predicting how much time will consume that or another task, unclear acceptance criteria, and others.

We established a new step-by-step flow of transferring tasks from the client to the developers, along with the estimation, and provided regular feedback to the team. This helped the team to stay on track and avoid over-fulfillment. All flows of incoming tasks from all clients were collected in one Jira project, where they were supplemented with all the necessary descriptions, accesses, clarifications, and checklists. Only in this form were the tasks submitted for approval of time and execution.

In just three months of work, we never exceeded the assigned time frame and, on average, achieved an 80-90% loadout, a significant improvement from the previous over-fulfillment rate. We have also decreased the average time of taking to work (for supported customers) to 2h. As a result, we solved the problem of over-delivery, which was reflected in the company's profit and, importantly, in the awareness of customers about the progress of completing tasks.

- a platform for managing nightlife events and importing them from different sources via various APIs and manually;

We made the architecture and backend for the app that centrally stores medical data and clinical trials. This app lets clients make plans for drugs or treatments for clinical trials, set them up, and organize the data in a format that is easy to use. We built an iScream, a peer-to-peer services marketplace on the https://status.im/ platform. At its core, a smart contract marketplace allows parties to negotiate the terms. It also keeps a historical record of all the transactions.


ANGELHACK [San Francisco]. 

We built a Liveyourlife solution that allows freelancers and people on the go to live a healthier and more balanced life without harming their productivity and leveraging mobility. We used sophisticated AI algorithms to build optimal routes concerning time, money, and calories spent.


TechCrunch [Paris]. 

We have built a blockchain platform for autonomous cars called Ridechain. So why do we need blockchain here? 
1. Access control. You don’t need to rely on the third-party car-sharing app anymore! With blockchain, a smart contract can easily grant or revoke access to a car for a person you trust.
2. Historical data. The second smart contract stores all data about issues and accidents. Blockchain, by its nature, proves that this data is not corrupted.
3. The last smart contract is about payments. Based on GPS data sent to the blockchain, your car will pay your bill wherever you pass a toll or stay in the parking lot.

We proposed an AI solution, 2PARC, that allows finding a free parking spot in real time. Intelligent peer-to-peer parking platform. It navigates drivers to the closest and cheapest parking spots nearby. It uses existing infrastructure - CCTV cameras are utilized. It reduces traffic, pollution, and time spent while looking for parking. Citizens can make a profit by installing IOT sensors.


ELEVATE [Kyiv]. 

We pitched our side project FlyWise. A P2P platform that brings travelers and shoppers together. Travelers earn money by delivering goods, and shoppers can buy unique or cheaper products from other countries. We've run the Google Design sprint process to check hypotheses and build prototypes. Finally, we presented Flywise in front of 500 startups partner Marvin Liao and Mike Butcher from Techcrunch.


IMPACT FINTECH [Poland].

We collected critical feedback on the "AIRouting" and "Churn API" projects.


TechCrunch Disrupt [Berlin]. 

We build a solution that finds you the best location to live in Berlin. It considers your food, shops, sports preferences, and transport availability. As a result, we were among the shortlist of teams who won tickets to the TC Disrupt Conference.

BANKATHON [Berlin]. 

We built Airouting SAAS. A recommendation engine that efficiently routes card payments to payment service providers. Our solution leverage sophisticated AI algorithms to achieve optimal routing. As a result, Airouting won in PSD2 and SME tracks.

INSURHACK [Cologne]. 

We created a blockchain solution E-Invest. It reduces the risks and costs of insurance from natural disasters. In addition, E-Invest allows crypto-investors to earn money by participating in reinsurance and open-sourced the code.

BREAK THE BLOCK [London]. 

We won in "Best use case" nomination with the "ICOsurance." It is an insured ICO crowd sale protocol. The protocol provides insurance for investors from cyber-security attacks. 

LEGALTECH [Kyiv]. 

That was our first Legal Tech Hackathon. We took second place with the "Safeproperty" bot. It checks the legal risks of purchasing a property still under construction. We leveraged open government data (OpenDataBot API). 


BOTHACK [Berlin]. 

We built a music recommendation solution in the chatbot. The bot will find and play the best song on Spotify that fits your current mood. We were the only team who did a successful integration with Amazon Alexa. The bot will propose relevant concerts around.


SMART TECHNO

We participated and won in Kyiv Smart Techno Hackathon and won. It is a "Party Animals" chatbot that provides free entrance to Kyiv nightclubs 24/7.
