Creativity

Creativity allows us to view and solve problems more openly and with innovative approaches

modesty.svg

Modesty

Modesty is an essential foundation to be able to admit you’re not perfect, and that you will benefit from reflecting on what you should do differently

leadership.svg

Leadership

Communicate, negotiate and understand the perspectives of other stakeholders such as business leaders, consumers, and customers of the technology we build. This makes us think harder about solving real business problems rather than focus on narrow technical concerns

How it works

We hire to CML Team, not to the project

When a new talent joins the company, we find the most suitable project for her. Usually, the project lasts more than a year, it helps software engineers to deepen their knowledge and grow incrementally.

We prefer to bring the business value, not bureaucracy

We work with people who want to bring business value into the product. We use agile to avoid pointless meetings. Every team member keeps their mind open to new ideas and willingly helps to solve the challenges that others might struggle with.

We help to reveal your full potential, no one gets bored

We engage our colleagues to let us know the technology stack they would like to master, on top of that we can suggest something interesting based on our diverse expertise and wide experience. CML Team provides compelling projects, sexy tech stack, conducts educational seminars, and sets time aside to obtain new skills that you might be interested in, our mentors will help to do it efficiently and in a playful way.

Career map

Way up

One of the most challenging things is a step upstairs from QA to QA Lead, or from Developer to Tech or Team Lead, from BA to PM etc. In the previous role, everything that mattered was to do tasks the best way. Lead is responsible for the final result, people’s performance, and even their feelings about the job. We’ll help to prepare for this role, provide courses and individual training, and our mentors willingly help to start and will be ready to support you after the promotion.

We consider a career map like a professional development path. We believe that it’s a mutually beneficial collaboration. So we provide an opportunity to grow in different ways: deep into the current or a new technology stack, a horizontal shift such as from a QA Engineer to a developer, and vertical growth to tech lead, team lead, or project manager.

Become a Senior

We use a common scale, Junior-Strong Junior-Middle-Strong Middle - Senior. Each grade is a formalized assessment of the hard and soft skills. We revise grades on a regular basis every six months or by request. Everybody feels free to initiate this process in one-to-one meetings or any time. The process is straightforward. We consider performance, growth, and knowledge in the technology stack, and ask team members to evaluate the collaboration in technical and interpersonal dimensions, and PM and the client’s opinions are important too.

Change your tech-stack

When we hire a new member, we define the tech stack and what she likes, dislikes, would like to learn. This information about specific technologies or skills like: Java, Kotlin, Swift, Blockchain, Web3, Design etc, helps us to choose the best project and team. Preferences could change over time, so we offer courses, mentors, and technical review that aims to help making this process easier.

Feb 2020

JELBI [Berlin]. We built a PAC, park, and commute platform that allows citizens to benefit from the public transport system without losing precious time. In addition, it allows saving money on parking and unloading the city's busy districts.

image

Mar 2019

CODEVSCOVID19 [Zurich]. We built a COVoIDer, an app that allows citizens to book a time slot for visiting stores and places. Backend scoring system for each citizen to request tests quicker and lower the risk of contamination. COVoIDer security app allows personnel to validate the eligibility of visitors. Backoffice for healthcare personnel to access their patients' data.

New Client!

Feb 2019

Blockchain Hackaton [Stuttgart]. We built a "Relathereum" - an Ethereum-based platform and mobile app that allows you to find a place to stay and refresh. The smart contract tracks the condition of the capsules.

48H hack on a moving train!

Nov 2018

HACK THE TRAIN 4.0 [London]. We've built a geo incident solution for the Great Britain railway. It is a real-time network delay estimation and visualization tool.

image

Nov 2018

EOS [Hong Kong]. We have built a GitChain, a decentralized version control system. It allows developers to receive financial rewards for their contributions. The first step is allowing developers to share license rewards with active project contributors. Step #2 is to build a new decentralized git client, so you will never need to rely on a centralized platform. It will change how future generations of developers think of open-source.

New Client!

May 2018

TechCrunch [Paris]. We have built a blockchain platform for autonomous cars called Ridechain. So why do we need blockchain here? 1. Access control. You don’t need to rely on the third-party car-sharing app anymore! With blockchain, a smart contract can easily grant or revoke access to a car for a person you trust. 2. Historical data. The second smart contract stores all data about issues and accidents. Blockchain, by its nature, proves that this data is not corrupted. 3. The last smart contract is about payments. Based on GPS data sent to the blockchain, your car will pay your bill wherever you pass a toll or stay in the parking lot. Next time you decide to buy such a second-hand car will be sure you know everything about it. We believe autonomous cars with blockchain will build a great future for us! Drive safely, help friends, and pay securely with Ridechain!

image

Apr 2018

HACK BELGIUM [Brussels]. We proposed an AI solution, 2PARC, that allows finding a free parking spot in real time. Intelligent peer-to-peer parking platform. It navigates drivers to the closest and cheapest parking spots nearby. It uses existing infrastructure - CCTV cameras are utilized. It reduces traffic, pollution, and time spent while looking for parking. Citizens can make a profit by installing IOT sensors.
